✨Feels of Clay✨ About 12 years ago, I decided to push my creative boundaries and start making ceramic jewelry that brought about the idea of turning the ceramic creations into something wearable that sparked a new kind of excitement. I began by experimenting with different clays, textures, and firing techniques. The idea of creating jewelry that was both artistic and functional felt like the perfect way to combine my love for ceramics with the desire to make something that people could connect with on a personal level. Carefully formed and fired by hand, the piece reflects the era’s fascination with domestic architecture—solid, symmetrical, and quietly decorative. Subtle detailing in the façade, from the pitched roof to the textured walls, echoes the brick townhouses and rural cottages common in 19th-century Britain. The gentle irregularities in the glaze and form speak to its handmade origin, giving the house a warmth and character that mass-produced objects lack.
